　　剧情简介
　　彭彩金是一位来自中国南方广东省的女孩，她的励志故事在被改编并搬上大银幕之前，深深打动了全国成千上万读者的心灵。
　　彩金出生于20世纪90年代，当时这个不到一个月大的女孩被生母抛弃，然后被一对中年农民夫妇收养，这对农民夫妇叫彭孝诚、刘春桃，他们给小孩取名“彭彩金”。面对巨大的困难，他们把她抚养成人，过着贫穷而幸福的生活。
　　然而，在彩金刚9岁的时候，一件悲惨的事情袭击了这个农村家庭：她的养父从一个湿滑的斜坡上摔下来，损伤了他的脊髓；他几乎瘫痪了。小彩金还是一名小学生，但她在照顾生病的父母的同时承担了所有家务。他们希望她能过上更轻松、稳定的生活，并决定把她送回生母身边。但事与愿违，彩金还是回来了，继续照顾他们，直到他们在几年后相继离世。
　　人生不可能一帆风顺，总会有许多的不如意，或是不幸。不幸来临，彩金没有选择放弃或是逃避，而是勇敢面对，毅然和命运抗争，自强不息，坚强地活下去。

　　电影中的原型彭彩金出生于广东梅州的一个偏远山村，自小，她被一对生活条件很差的中年农民夫妇不顾一切地收养了。她的继母残疾，继父靠种地勉强挣到生活开支。一家三口过着简单而幸福的生活。
　　但不幸降临了这个家庭，父亲因摔倒而受重伤，这个家庭的突然没了收入来源。为维持着整个家庭的生计，9岁的彩金独自一人承担了所有家务，种菜、打水、捡柴火、做饭，给母亲洗漱，给父亲煮草药。这个可怜的小女孩日夜不停地工作，生活极其艰难。但彭彩金坚强地直面艰辛，也刻苦地学习。她的故事非常鼓舞人心，因而她成为2010年在广州举行的第16届亚运会的火炬手之一，并在同一年成为广东十大新闻人物。电影《孝女彩金》改编自她年轻生活的真实故事。
　　如今，彭彩金已经成为一名励志的大学生。她的故事深深打动了无数读者。其中一位是导演周勇，他后来根据自己的生活故事拍摄了这部电影。年轻演员冯莹莹也将这个角色刻画得栩栩如生。
