　　光绪元宝是清代钱币，共有十九省局铸造。版本多，数量大，留存到现代也已经是寥寥无几了。其中以江苏省造较为特殊。江苏省造光绪元宝是收藏钱币的大类，受到很多收藏家的关注。不同版本的光绪元宝都有不同的韵味，特别是江苏省造光绪元宝成为很多藏家追逐的焦点。

　　江苏省造光绪元宝，上缘“江苏省造”，两侧铸满文，下缘“每元当制钱五文”，中间是直读“光绪元宝”，中心梅花纹装饰，左右满文造币局，译成汉字是“宝苏”两字。以珠圈相隔，珠圈是由99个小点组成。

　　大清铜币铸造始于1900年，也就是清光绪二十六年，但由于各省铸行铜元毫无节制，于是，在1905年也就是光绪三十一年，清政府在天津设立的户部造币总厂开始铸造新式铜元“大清铜币”。主要目的是为了整顿和统一币制，试图将铸币权收归国有，加强控制。
　　铸造始于1900年（清光绪二十六年），止于1911年（宣统三年），流通时间较短。因其版面设计优雅，雕刻精良，且存世量极为稀少，大清铜币光绪年户部造当十被誉为中国近代制币中的十大名誉品之一。

　　此钱币品相完美，钱币正面珠圈内钤有“大清铜币”四字，币心凸起处能看出有一阴刻鄂字，乃是湖北省的简称，仅限在湖北省内使用，因此极为稀少；珠圈外上环满文，满文左右有干支纪年“丙午”字样，左右分列“户部”二字，注明由此币的发行部门；下环覆满包浆，但仍可看出其币值“当制钱五文”字样。钱币背面中央为部颁大清龙图案，表现出了当时的国际政治、经济、文化的交融，极具历史意义。是集收藏与投资于一身的难能可贵的精品！
　　此钱币为“鄂”字版户部大清铜币。钱币背面中央为蟠龙，上端为光绪年造，下环英文“TaiChingTiKuoCopperCoin”字样（大清帝国铜币）。龙纹栩栩如生，中国龙被视为神物予以崇拜。“龙图是中国人的图腾，中国历代的君皇及皇族子孙被称为龙子，龙孙。龙的形象在皇室用品上被专有使用。据史书记载早在汉武帝时期的“白金三品，就铸有“龙的图形；其后的宋元明代，已有少部分流通币上铸有龙纹。特别是在历代花钱上，龙的图形则更多。清代未期光绪、宣统年间，官铸的金、银、铜元，其背面更是大多铸有龙图。据不完全统计，清代银币上的“龙币图案约有近千种版别。这些龙更是千变万化，这枚钱币为坐龙，周边吉祥云，给人腾云驾雾，君临天下之感，古代只有皇室能自称为真龙天子，龙也象征着君王。
　　说到钱币的历史，公认是由玉璧发展而来的，在没有铜币之前就是用玉璧来做交易的，而古人认为天是圆的地是方的，所以制作了外圆内圆的玉璧用来礼天，这枚钱币圆度规整，凸起的圆形似玉璧内孔，又有龙纹加持，既有历史研究价值，也可以驱邪避恶，保平安，是一枚难得的馆藏级钱币。
　　光绪年间闽省所需银元均由粤省供应，维因路途遥远，往返费时，运汇多费，劳民伤财。闽督准商人孙利用集股购机，就在闽地试铸。未几奉户部令，不准商人附搭股本或自行铸造。后拟委派闽籍浙江候补知县孙葆办理，由善后局、盐道筹款续铸。后因局库支绌，无款拨给而作罢。乃于光绪二十四年（1898年），具奏续由官督绅办，是一时权宜之计，窒碍甚多，必须改为官办，以符政体。于光绪二十六年（1900年），委藩司张曾、盐法道杨古玩督办局务，办理接受机器厂房、物料等事宜。其鼓铸费用均由该司、道设法筹款。铸成后发商行用。闽省自接办后改为“福建银元局”。往后所铸钱币，其币上端均书“福建官局造”，与他省截然不同。

　　钱币正面直读为“光绪元宝”，外环珠圈，上缘纪地文字为“福建官局造”。下缘纪值文字为“每枚当钱五文”；钱币字迹清晰，内部珠圈，内齿十分规整，表现压力十足，正反面有明显的氧化银包浆，呈现浅棕黑色，为开门真品银币。
　　这三枚钱币包浆自然，底光柔和，所谓包浆是自然形成的氧化层，也有人为手盘包浆，两者不同，但同时都有保护钱币的功能，有如给钱币镀上一层保护膜，使钱币不再氧化，便于收藏传世，如果觉得钱币脏，可以用清水洗，再用棉布擦干，不要破坏包浆，破坏了包浆就相当于破坏了保护层，更重要的是包浆是鉴定新老钱币最简单有效的方法。细看这三枚钱币品相完美，没有磕缺，损毁，变形等是不可多得收藏级钱币，建议收藏，传世。
